The Workshop on Imaging and Data Science brings together the investigators at the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and builds strong collaborations between UTD and UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). The workshop brings engineers, computer scientists, surgeons, radiologists, and clinicians together and translates innovative imaging and surgical technologies from our engineering laboratories at UTD to clinical settings at UTSW with the goal of improving human health.

The Workshop will include a poster competition that will take place on October 7, 2022 at the site of the Texas Instruments (TI) Auditorium at the Engineering and Computer Science South (ECSS) Building at UT Dallas. We encourage undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers to present posters highlighting their research projects. All submissions will be given the opportunity to present their posters to national leaders in the field of bioengineering, computer science,  the UTD community, and the public at large.

We will have three categories for poster awards: 1) Undergraduate Students, 2) Graduate Students, and 3) Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Associates. The winners will be recognized with award certificates and cash prizes at the Workshop. 

If you wish to participate and to receive a poster template, please submit an abstract to Prof. Baowei Fei (bfei@utdallas.edu) by September 16, 2022.      

All posters should be set up at 8:00 – 9:00 AM at the Axxess Atrium on the first floor of the Electrical and Computer Science West  Building (ECSW) that is just next to the ECSS Building where the workshop is located.  Please see the workshop map for the location. The poster session will be at 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
